Im not playing in this months freeroll but i did in the last one which was held on ultimatebet. There was thousands of players in it o i didnt do too good. Good luck in tonights one and keep us updated how you get on.
i did tell everyone a long time in advance, none seemed all that interested, i was telling everyone about the OFC and GGE because i won the last GGE at red kings.

Dannyjon i think you need to register for these tournements a few eeks in advance or something and i also think you need to be part of certain forums to take part also. I only found out about the last one from an email and as i was already a memeber of ultimatebet where it was last held thats how i came about to register for it. I think its held on a different poker site every month aswell.
yea its held on a different site every month, you have to register through -removed-
and your not missing anything in the freeroll, 1700 entrants and only top 10 pay
------------ im currently coming 7th out of the remaining 1400 people, andits only because i have been playing like a donk, if i have any sort of hand you aint gonna bluff me, just because of the horrid payout structure.
ie board was 5678, someone pushes all in, i hold a four and go meh call, and win, board was x9j8, i holded TQ, someone pushed all in and their were three hearts on the board, i go meh call, and now i feel i have to play properly again
now up too 4th, i have had four straights in 45 minutes, and everyone i have gotten all in with

Just to be on the safe side ya know? I agree it would be cool if the BRM joined the list of forums that play , Am i wrong in thinking that the player who wins or places also wins money for the forum they are competing under? So we could win money for them if we do well in the tournement.
yea they pay out prizes for the top placing forums, its usually 500 in forum prizes for the freeroll and 1000 in forum prizes for the buy in
------------ flopped another straight, got all in with another big stack, currently coming 2nd. woo, our table is half sit outs, so i have been bullying relentlessly its why im getting so many straights
------------ im coming 6th and the field is down too 500 ppl, all the sit outs are getting kicked so it will be back to playing real poker, wish me luck
yea we got to this point were all the sit outs got kicked, im currently in first outa 333, i doubled up on pocket 9's vs pocket 5's all in preflop
------------ got kicked in 150th, it was my fault, i started to play very loosely because the linds were getting big, i had 15000 blinds were 400 800, but with still 150 people to go and only final table paying i was looking to collect some chips and i didnt mind flipping a coin to do it.
To do this i was restealing preflop a lot, all in over a standard 3 bb raise. i get dealt A8 suited in the sb and there was one min raiser, i push him all in, get called by the bb and the min raiser, the min raiser had 33 but still called, so i think he was in a similar mindset to myself, the bb had KK and played it the only way he could, 3 on the flop with one diamind, i had runner runner diamonds for the win and a blank peels, pocket 3's kicked us both
