That a very good one tommy, for me, i have left .05/.15 and opted to play on .10/.25 as i think i can play better there than on the lower limit. its just harder for me to earn on lower limits.

I reckon uve all made good points and i think most of us would like to make a profit doing what we enjoy but the enjoying is the main thing,,,, i lost so much my first few months at this game mostly by just being plain stoopid but the game is there for the wining , if u learn and get the baisics u will improve over time,, if u have the patience and willpower that is , both of which i was sadly lacking of in my first few months, anyway I have seen my game improve over the last few months and ive been in the black,,,not by a lot but some,,,,i never make more than 1 deposit a month anjd when i win half of what i deposit i withdraw those winings if i go broke i play freerolls or player point tourneys or i simply dont play and have a break,,,,,1 last comment as touched apon in 1 of the above posts,,,BANKROLL MANAGEMENT!!,,,, We have all read about it or no the concept well i hope we do , but no s**t thats so important manage yer roll,,,never stake more than u can afford ta lose,, uve all heard it before so am not going ta waste ure time with it,,,,if ya want to gamble go to a bookies dont take it to the table, sure sometimes u got to push and hope but the hard thing is to9 get that moment when u push to be a calculated decision not just a coin toss,,,well the next time am all in with jj I will try not to remeber what i just said,,,,,,lol,,,,,,I hope ya get my drift anyway,,,,,gl ta ya all,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Posted by thefodz: To me, this seems true and very logical. I do believe that the very few people who actually make money from this online poker world, is somewhere around 3% or less compared to all players.
I thought it was 1 in 3 end end up in the positive..
I grind at the low limit sit and gos and make $5-$10 an hour on average.

Well i must say im finally on my "minimum daily wage" program. Not much but I can say im going up. Im happy when im up $20 and I continue to play in same poker room only if i need points or something. In the end all summed up it turns out to some $10 a day, ok not everyday but most of them and my goal for first step is making steady income of $20 per day on average. After that only the sky is the limit. That $20 per day would be my "zero point". When Im done with that step ill tell you how much was invested in that. Im not lying myself, i want ot live out of poker. I had trouble with my family only because they thought i would go broke spendind all money i have on poker. But when they saw it is not true and that i dont drink at all, only on celebrations, that i have learned to manage my temper (hardest thing) and with help of TV shows that it is now more sport than gambling they accepted it. So when all summed up, im up in so many ways since i have started playing poker online that i cannot measure it only in money, it gave me much more.

I will never go bankrupt. Not even when im wining less then 3% of the hands involved(proven). Different play style. You go up fast but also can go down fast.

Live poker I am up about 4K total this year so far. I have won about 5K and the rest accounts for my buyins and losses. Not to shabby when my normal weekly games consist of a $20 rebuy, $40 1r+1a, $100 cash game, and occassionally a $30 SNG format.

Hi... I have won a few tournaments, mostly on Pacific Poker. I made a few deposits, two of U$ 30, one of U$ 50, and turn it to U$ 1000.00 I made a withdraw of obout U$ 600 to neteller, and transfer 200 to full tilt, and the rest to my credit card... I lost all my full tilt bankroll, and lost the rest in my Pacific Poker account too... But, I made more than I lose... I´ll make another deposit to Pacific Poker this month, but I´ll still winning a little...

Lol at the poll where almost everyone votes he is a winning player, u must count the long run and not the lucky runs and lucky tournament wins...But i believe anyone can be a winning player if you exclude tilt in ur game and use strictly management and read alot of strategies and watch alot of games...

i think that im up about 100$->300$ i would be up like 10000$ if i would have ever tilted but that is impossible.tommygunne 1300$ up in this month is quite well keep playing just like that.
I've been playing online for about a year and have made some money... If you don't restrict yourself you will lose every time even after a big win... deside before you start your session what amount you wan and stop when you have won/lost what you set as your limit! Cashout if you win makes it less tempting to continue losing on the bad day... the days when nothing goes your way is the day you lose everything you have worked for the past ?weeks?! All in all it's about selfdisipline
I usually use neteller and have a card that i send the money i want to use i reallife The cash can't be reversed and that is money you will forsure have the most pleasure from ) Cheers
