I did get a warning from our automated monitor system that the site was running a bit slow about an hour ago, but there's not much to do about it than wait it out, as long as it doesn't kill the site at least.

The problems with speed have been increasing as banners are added. I have a "trouble" connection here, so I notice it very fast.
If I´m playing some tables with 2 Poker sites open, all still goes well. When I open up BankrollMob, I lose my connections on the Poker sites. Real problem. I don´t have this with other sites.
The Flash Promos, commercial pictures, pop-ups are clearly overloading the site. There is a limit to how much publicity you can run in Flash (or whatever) on your site, and I think you are overstepping the limit. Have a look at other sites, almost NONE have as much going on on one page as here on BRM.
It´s a shame, because I don´t log in anymore when I´m playing because of this. And that was my major "posting time" behind the PC.
I´ll be very honest... you´ve got way too much running on the pages and you should take a step back and make it easily accessible again. It also does not look professional anymore when this many pop-ups and flashing images are moving all over your screen. Sites stepped away from these kind of webpages around 2002 because they did not appeal to anyone and came across very "pushy". (That´s a fact). No need to go there again and time to pull back if you want to keep "regulars" on the site. Otherwise it will turn into a one-shot-stop-shop.

Posted by doomdy: BRM is extremely slow for a week now, before it was ok.
Ohhhhh and btw its not my computer, porn is extremely fast as allways on my laptop......
According to our monitor service, the "average response time" has increased just 0.032 seconds in November compared to October, which is not that bad considering the amount of extra traffic the three leaderboards are currently making. And November's average is still faster than the average of Q1 and Q2 of 2011. And, 2011 in total is on average 0.31s faster than 2010 was, probably because we are outsourcing some of the graphics to Amazon to make it load faster since it's cached in several servers worldwide.
But, the monitoring service does not take into account the banners, I believe, especially not the flash banners, and on some computers flash banners will take a hit on performance.
Numbers above are average based on checks performed worldwide, but of course it's possible that it may be slower from Netherlands than from UK, so you will feel it slower than someone from UK might.

Is it possible that server is getting flooded with requests as a result of the password mix-up? That's my guess. 700 people all blasting the server at once is a lot isn't it? It'll probably go back to normal in an hour or so.
