Animals will love to eat whats left. About recipes, i can only give you some advices of some portuguese ones. You can, for instance, do a cake (not pie), with floor, pasta, eggs and butter, and using apple bits to give the cake some colour and better flavour than just cream. Kids and adults will love it!

I'm guessing that it found an apple tree with apples still left in it. By now they are staring to get old and contain some alcohol. It has been eating, and trying to reach more and more of the apples, further up in the tree. Probably standing on it's hind legs. And then a branch broke and it got stuck, or maybe it was even so wasted it thought it could climb in the tree...?
Anyway, that's my theory. In the video they only talk about how difficult it was to get it down.

@Jovicakralj: Two things, what's the name of that band, I can't understand them but I'd love to check them out a little, is S.A.R.S the band name? Also I looked up that wiki thread and the anise flavoured one would be so awesome. I'll have to try make some next.

Yup, its SARS. They was Youtube sensation and now they have two albums. Great band! I wathed them live, boy they are goood
