unacceptable because of what? its a predator it will kill and eat things it's what nature intended it for i had a boa a few years ago and he was a fussy eater (which is extremely common) would not eat anything that didn't have a pulse

I live feed my Tarantula, with crickets, but only because it is necessary... they do not take dead food. I personally would never feed it a pinky mouse like some owners do, just seems cruel.
I am unsure if snakes have to be fed live food, but if they do... then it should surely be restricted to what they would eat in the wild in their natural habitat..... but NEVER a kitten!

I too had a snake, actually don't know what it was other than a constrictor, it slowly gave up on pinky s, even when warmed up, though when it did eat them it often took a liking to my fingers!! Anyway after a while it was not eating at all, so we had no choice but to try live food, to which it loved, ohh and yes it was one hell of a escape artist and tried to comit suicide on the heat lamp, I wonder if he is still alive today, possibly eating the local kittens. @cjvfruity if its big enough it will quite happily eat you, that's their natural habitat, yep kittens. BUt yes, not nice to actually feed a cat to it, rabbit fine.

actually life feedign is not for pleasure (for the most of the reptile owners). I had snakes for a long time and I always feed live rats and mice, just to keep the snakes fit, they can get fat to . But feeding a live kitten is idd just for their own sick pleasure, such people shouldn't be allowed to have snakes or any other pet for that matter. But I'm pretty sure this is not a isolated incident, I recall reading somewhere that there are quiet a few people who go around to find homeless kittens to feed to there snakes.

so you reckon natural predation takes the form of a kitten placed in a santa hat then placed in front of a snake on a bed , distracted from the danger then killed on camera , you want to keep wierd pets fine, you one of the wierdos who post the feeding films on utube ?, or are you just secretly wierd? I care not , but this was just sick and psychotic , but hey as a snake person you see no harm, fine again, just keep it to yourself and remember it is against the law of this land and if captured this sicko will be punished , so lets hope he is captured quicky with 3k on his head wont take long we hope

Python cat killer strikes again. A SICK video of a cat being drowned in a bath has been posted on the internet — by the same sadist behind footage of a kitten being fed to a python.
The latest video — uncovered by The Sun — shows the terrified pet taped to a broom handle being slowly lowered into the water by a woman.
Bubbles can be seen rising as it struggles frantically before losing its fight for life.
The footage, called "Bathtime lol" was posted on YouTube at the weekend by a user called jasminethecat666.
The same sicko posted a video exposed by The Sun last week, which showed a tiny kitten being fed to a Burmese python — as the Christmas song Little Drummer Boy played in the background.

1, the dressing up of the cat is over the top and for obvious shock value which it clearly delivers
2, snakes eat cats in the wild (and feral cats in our glorious british isle are still classed as vermin so if you catch and release them you can and will be fined they have to be destroyed by law)
3, before you get butt hurt even more these videos are not new
4, making insults against me for having a different opinion about something will get you nowhere everyone is weird because everyone is different hence the term being an individual
5, why don't we as people sort out people killing other people before we move on to what our animal eats because im pretty sure you don't think about what those animals that are in dog food are thinking before they have their throats slit, but again that's acceptable right?

and btw im 6'1 and i earn enough working 18 hours a week than most do for a full week im in no rush for a 2nd job but thanks none the less for your advice

i think no animal want to life in a cage if they can life in nature but i know some people like this to have a 5meter snake in a 1mx1mx1m cage or better terrarium. In German ZOOs its not to be live feeding.But every human must know selph what he want like love or do. I am not a frend of this
