Awwww, that sucks CamBam247. Always sucks to hear a fellow Canadian in distress. I hear ya though my KK just lost all in to A5o (and I called him) as I was writing this thread. Luckily I didn't lose even 1% of my roll.
My KK survived today with an A on the flop. Not so lucky the other night..had AA cracked twice...once by QQ and the other QJo. The only thing that prevents me from going off is to remind myself I have no control over which cards hit the board. Doesn't make it better...helps me quell the emotion.
Anybody who's played and lost a bankroll or two knows bankroll management is a cardinal rule that should not be broken, no matter what. Putting all your eggs in one basket is just asking for trouble, and u got it.

Start with a decent bankroll and never buy in for more than 5% at any time. This is one of the hardest skills to master in online poker as everyone wants to move up the stakes quickly. Good things take time.

It always depends on the kind of game, because obv. some games are swingier than others. I myself play 18/45 man SNG mostly and use more like.. 0.5% (200 buy ins) because I've expirienced downswings of 70 buy ins or even more, they're very common when you play decent volume so even 2% would be a bankroll-suicide in them
