right guys and gals, i came 2nd on the $500 freeroll on gunshot last night that i won on the calendar, winning $150, great, but my problem is, wat games 2 play, i,ve been playing the cash games, 2 many fish so i went on2 the sng, played the $1 games, still getting stuffed!!!! any advice please guys cus i wana do well with this bankroll? p.s. i,m down to $133, please help

yeah they do, just seems to be to many fish, was hoping to stay on there dridu 2 b honest, i havent put my bank details in, but defo worth thinking about. i,m quite a good player as it goes but it seems ak, kk qq always gets beat by s**te hands
------------ i try to play only top hands supernood, but as everyone i get bored now and again and play s**t hands like the one,s beating me
------------ advice is wat i really want guys, how to get the best out ov this decent bankroll and wat tables are best to play please

stick to what you are best at and dont let few hands affect your play. doubleup games at ipoker have 20% rake, so unless you are very good at them dont play them.
with a 133 dollar bankroll, u should be playing NL10 with SSS and NL5 BSS. cash games. with SnG's, I wouldn't play anything over $2.00 buy in, but play 6 max or full ring single table.

why dont you use your roll as ammo for mtt's? its already shown you can play well. I dont know wat cash stakes psycho means but i wouldnt go over a 1.00 buy in so.02/.04 nl holdem multy 6 games and you shouldnt get bored. i think if you are using a 133$ roll you should never play a game where u have less then 50bb i believe. in cash i find there are many draw players and with the dynamic nature of the cash game and people coming and going you reallu hasve to be a good instinctual poker player.
i wish you well and hope you can manage that rol!!! quizzes and some reading is much better then our advice most likely as well.

i,m playing double up sng at the mo micro and doing quite well, multie tables confuse me a little bit cus i end u playing really loose, thanks 4 the advice bud

Im glad you found a comfortable game. My purpose for playing multiple games would be to limit your desire to play lousy hands. If for instance you are in 4 sngs of 27 players you will be plenty busy clicking fold and wont bother playing A10 utg. sooted or not.

leeollie, can't see someone losing consistantly when playing in the SnG's. I started out my BR by earnings from hard to place Freerolls and then moved in to playing $1 SnG's. I never played a game of electronic poker until a year ago so I took advice from the Mobsters along with reading in the forum/poker strategies. All I'm saying is there is valuable input / information here at BRM and if your losing constantly then it may be time to evaluate your technique and methods. No way.. $133 is no way enough to play NL10.. To play that level you need at least $300.

Looking for advices with a bankroll like that? I see its proably the first big victory for you! I never won any prize that big, but I can tell you that, in order to make your bankroll grow, you should keep straight in the game you play best. Don’t start going to ring if you always played SnG. And don’t think about climb the buy-in ladder too much if you don’t feel confident enough. If you are just used to play freerolls and you usually even get high on the classification, so why don’t you play some MTT? Maybe it’s the best thing for you to do, you probably have your type game defined to play those. Instead of freerolls, you start with low buy-ins to see if you manage to reach higher places just like you did on this.

Wrong,he said NL10 SSS,which means ShortStackStrategy. Having 40 buy ins using that is plenty. Idk if it's possible to still play it on ipoker tho,thought the min. buy in was switched to 30BB or even 40BB some time ago,in that case the MSS (MidStackStrategy) would apply (buying in with 50BB). Could still take a few shots there with 26BB too but possibly would have to move down relativly quick
