wow. This values just makes one think about what all economists say nowadays: they all talk about the financial crysis, the lack of money in Europe to fight social problems, the growth of unemployment... and then we open an online poker journal and read that the buy-in for a certain poker tourney is about €5,000 and i am almost sure that all of this tourneys will have more than 300 players registered and many even more. I know that some of them manage to enter this tourneys without paying this values because they win lower buy-in satelites that gives them entrances, but, in the same, those satelites have hundreds of players who paid 10% of this buy-in and lost, giving online poker rooms and tourney sponsors more than enough funds to pay huge prizes and still win with it.
