i agree u should have raised preflop. checking the flop was ok but i wud have raised. tho u probly wud get calld anyway and no better off. i think ur mistake was goin all in wen he raised. didnt u ask yourself wot has the turn changed. he could easily have an open ended straight draw now so perhaps you should have calld to see if a scare card came on the river. the thing is you wanted him to call but what did you put him on that you could beat. the only way ud get calld by a losing hand is a lower set.

Your chips stacks are too deep for a minraise preflop. And with the min raise, you have no idea what he can hold.

You comments are all great but listen to me for one second

I sat at this table with $1000 folded to all his raises for the first 20 hands or so, i think take $1000 of his money so im up 1000, he reloaded $1000 he got that off me to another sick hand and got lucky on the river, anything this guy is a maniac i tell you, it would not have matter one bit if i had raised 400 pre flop or 50 dollars he would call anything at any time trust me, that hand was going to loose for me no matter what, i have notes on this guy that woudnt even fit in the bible, u cannot stop a super agressive maniac, if he had called and see that he had open ended he would call my all in a second no matter what.

If you raised to $90 or so preflop, I don't think he would call and if he does than hes a total donk and he would have made a bad play. I don't think he played that hand bad..

Im sorry but I think you played this hand very bad. You click raise him pre......click raise is for donks or when you wonna trap somebody(you can't trap with 1 pair) I think you should have made it 100-150 pre and post flop you bet fishy small again with a draw on the board and then when the draw hits you move all in to a raise ??????? So you make sure he get's his hand and then you shove....the only way you get a call is if you are beat or to meet a lucky smaller set.
Im sorry for your loss and it's a pretty cold deck but you allmost forced it to happen Confused

you played it bad. you raised him pre-flop, and then checked to him on the flop when you made your trips?!

you should have bet big on the flop. tried to scare him out. even if he folded, you still would've won the $100 pot.

i think $100 is an acceptable win from one pot at those stakes. that's ten big bets.
