hey guys.
Well as some of you may know if you have read my blog, is that I like to livestream when playing online poker, Having looked around alot, there is no other channel out there that does stream exclusive poker. So i had the idea of why not create a community channel. So here it is..
www.justin.tv/feltgaming
I will be going live shortly streaming some PLO freerolls, but this is not the whole reason im posting this. I know there is a few on BRM who like to do videos and show off their play looking at Micro, Donz, a few others whose names ive forgotten. To you guys, I ask, would you like to become a caster for the channel. If you have never streamed before, thats ok. I will guide you through it. (its easier than you think) All you would be required to do when casting, is play poker, and talk. After all thats all you do in your videos right?? see easy
My aim for the channel is to be as active as possible and have it grow as big as possible, with there being that gap in the "market" I feel as a team we can achieve this. And thus, gaining more traffic to BRM by refering viewers Kill two birds with one stone

Initially i am able to say yes i am interested. Bandwidth would be my only concern. If need be ill upgrade but that would be for next month since i dont want to upgrade mid month and pay more then need be.
Could you give some of resources needed as it pertains to bandwidth or anything pertinent?

you cant, there is an automatic delay. only on own3d stream site i think you can adjust the delay. but that service is crap.
You need to add a channel, via the broadcast menu. the user is feltgaming and the password is windowsvista123 ill give you a link to a forum for the settings.

ok for those guys that wish to stream for FeltGaming. This is a basic set up guide for the easiest streaming software for you to use.
First go to.. www.xsplit.com and register and download there software. This is currently in beta, and is currently free... but wont be forever, (there is other ways to stream without it, but this is the best currently). You can optionaly purchase a 2 year license for 39USD. at 70% off.
Anyway once you have downloaded and installed the software. Open it up and sign in using the details you registered with..
1) On the main window, click on the tab at the top where is says Broadcast. 2) Click edit channels 3) click add and click justin tv 4) fill in the form like this.. Username: (your jtv username, or if your setting up for felt gaming) use feltgaming password: windowsvista123 leave everything else as it is on the top part.
on the video encoding section
preset: Xsplit Default codec: x264 quality: 8-10 however good your comp is VBV Max Bitrate (kbps): 1500 VBV Buffer (kbit): 2500 resolution: default stage resolution leave everything else...
in the audio encoding section...
format: 44.100KHz 16 bit stereo Codec: AAC LC Bitrate: 128000 5) click ok
Then all you need to do is click on view click on resolution and click on 1280x720 (16:9) HDTV Video (this will make the whole thing huge, to tackle this, click on view again, go to scale viewpoint and click 50% this will take it back to the original size)
And your done.. To broadcast click on broadcast and click the channel you added previous and your streaming at the highest quality
------------ Micro you here?
