I just browsed the site, and saw an advert for a PayDay loan, I have heard nothing but bad things about these loans all over the TV and papers lately, they target those who are most vulnerable financially, and seek to trap them into a never ending cycle of debt, borrowing, debt , borrowing and on and on!
The idea came over here from the US I believe, and I watched a TV programme about it where some poor US families were actually losing what little persessions they had left to these LOAN SHARKS!
After a quick look at the advert, the interest charged is only a small amount... about 1800%!
Surely it cant be right for BRM, a site aimed primarily at GAMBLERS to advertise for these LOAN SHARKS, the reason being...
On a gambling site, why would you want an easy to get, high interest loan? I will take a wild guess... To gamble it!
Now, I would like to ask.. does BRM support responsible gambling? The advert I just saw, tells me you dont give a monkies!
If BRM is not bothered in the slightest about advertising for these blood sucking companies, then my opinion of this site just dropped about 99%!
