i'm not sure this devalues other tournaments (but i have to agree that main event with 10 k buy in looks kinda funny compared with this 1 mil buyin) i think this can only be compared to nosebleed action- similar stuff here, and i see this as a sit and go rather than tourney...

These prizes must be something anyone would dream about. Does Jens Kyllönen needs to win to pass Juha Helppi in the Finnish All Time Money List, or a 2nd or 3rd place is enough? And looks like there are many amateurs among the 39 registered players. Jens calls them amateurs, but they shouldn’t be “normal” amateurs, having $1M available to pay for this buy-in…

This is poker on another level. But the buy in is all relative to their bankroll and the potential winnings.....no different to the guy who puts £50,000 on a horse in a race or a football match, other than at least playing poker you have some element of control over what happens and can generally only blame yourself if you make a bad move at the wrong time. Will be intersting to see who buys in!"
