I think maybe should have raise more pre. Its the shove though, I think its pretty standard, but maybe I was too deep?

Will post the result after analyses.

Raise is ok but i go for the limp/call small bet cos we are pretty deep.
3way family pot, i go trying to buy the pot but cant see me go allin here tbh.
In freeroll/low limit though i pumpfist yes true.
But in general i am still in phase tourney ''no set no bet'' though i can try to buy this pot 1 time.

------------
Imho fold preflop is also ok.
Also raise preflop is ok.
Also limp/call small bet is ok.
All 3 are EV+ if we know how to play it postflop imo.

Maybe should have just bet 1000 or something, but still I think even if he then shoved, I don't think I could pull out a fold. The shove was probably a bit extreme.

I do actually fold it pre flop sometimes. Disagree

Don't like the all inn on the flop...mostly u get punished for such action...especialy with minimum info
you got on your opponents hand.

probably you lost that hand...if u won it ,it was luck...on the long run it's a terrible play ..i think.

a pair is a pair...33 or 88 or 10-10 i don't see much diff when u walk uppon hands like A-10 or higher

what u need is hit your set..or you lose..

mostly i play PP's as cheap as possible to see the flop...and try to outplay after the flop..or fold postflop.

Raise preflop is ok, but I will not at early position. No hit on flop I will check. If compare with theory of course you did bad move with shove, what is your reason ? your opponent is calling station ? For me, your move just gambling, not tactical, you out position. next time better after this threat Tongue Tongue

I think a bigger bet pre flop would have been better but thats not the problem if you ask me...

The part that i do not liked is that you shoved after the flop and put all your chips to risk. Now i should have known more about the other players but there are people that call it with just TT...

I think a cbet would have been more proper Blink

Preflop raise is fine. you definitely don't want to raise more than that. The idea is that we get called and win a decent pot, not to aim to win the blinds. A mid pair is a hand where we need to hit a good flop and be able to play well post flop so there's no reason to let the pot get too big before we know if we have it. I don't like to call here though. You need to whittle down the hands that will call and a raise to about 500 would have done for me.

I see no reason to ship the flop unless you know players are very loose. Maybe some idiot will call with any ace or any six but I don't think it's standard here. The pot isn't big enough to warrant a shove of five/six times the pot. A pot size bet would probably be enough to get drawing hands calling and get rid of random overs. Shove any blank on the turn.

All was said ^^ Pre flop you could've just flat called for set mining because your position was bad. But raising is ok too. Shoving on the flop is a terrible mistake though, since only better hands will call you, except maybe 66 or 77.

uhhcallmi --> You did nothing wrong there. The 9 was actually a pretty good turn card for you, just unlucky that was his kicker.

Definitely shouldn't have been in the hand. He would lose a lot of chips more often than he would win in this case but in honesty I suspected he would have this hand the way your post went especially since you questioned whether you raised enough.

You shouldn't have shoved on the flop but he was really lucky and I think that even if you had played it differently you would still have ended up losing it all. I think even if he had just called a bet you would still want to shove the turn.
