It's so sad that this great point system is being abused again and again. First the points in Off topic was reduced 50% then the rest of the forum was also reduced 20% and now we are talking about making a maximum of 5 post pr day because someone posts more than 100 per day. I think the point system was a great way to make the forum more attractive but by reducing it again again again it has allmost become a joke. I think we should punish the 2-3 guys who abuse it instead of the all the regulars.

But, it won't really hurt anybody - only those who posts alot in the beginning to get points and then leaves.
In your case, you made 975 posts since december 10th. That's around 120 days, making it 8 posts a day on average. I don't know if all of your 975 posts are more than 100 characters, giving you points. But if we say that 75% of your posts are points-eligble, then you're down to about 5 posts on average a day that will give you point - which will keep you within the "new" points system still.
And you're even one of the top posters here, being number 5 on the "most posts"-list.

If I post 0 one day and 14 another day it gives point for 5 post even though i posted 14. It really doesn't matter and im im not too worried about it but I still think it's a shame that these 2-3 morrons are ruining it for others.
