Thursday night concluded event #46, the $2,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament, and the winner was the firstime WSOP winner Joey Weissman. He left the final table with $694,609 in prize money and his first WSOP Gold Bracelet. Not bad for Jeremy Quehen. Being the first time he cashed in WSOP and he was battling in the final HU to win the tourney. Was there any players that ever cashed for the first time at a WSOP with a victory? I don’t know if Chris Moneymaker had made til the Money before he won that bracelet years ago, the only stories i can found from him are about his first bracelet.

Yeah i think the ME was Moneymakers only event, he qualified online for $40 - one hell of a return on your money!!

Seems to me there's a lot of young guns winning bracelets - apart from Hellmuth of course.

Congrats to the winner, i must admit he took a really nice first prize considering the buy in was just 2500 dollars...

Also nice to see an american winning another bracelet, lately bracelets were won by other countries.

nice catch, i like the 2012 wsop player field, it's full of young and talented players and im really curious about the main event and can't wait to look at the final table.
