Yes The Kid or The Monster he owned people who had been pro's for 30 years when he was a 15 year old boy playing for the mafia. He had IQ of 185 and I think he was an extremely evil person to sit next to at the tables.
When we are talking about who's the best it's very important to say wether you are talking about cash or tourney game cause Phil Hellmuth is a very strong tourney player but very poor cash player.
I think some of the best players are mentioned above but there is so many it's hard to say who's the best, but Allen Cunnigham is an under rated players in my eyes.

Cant believe Cole South doesn't get a mention. Far and away the best in the world at the moment. Tom Dwan is amazing, Phil Galfond, and obv Antonius and Ivey are amazing.

i saw an episode of a poker program the name was the game and it has a player named ilari sahamies and the finnish guy is awesome propably my new facorite player!
i personally like Daniel negraunu he has amazing reading ability's and he jokes and has fun at the tables great to watch. As for as the best player in the world is concerned i would have to say Phil hellmuth for his 11 WSOP bracelets. And of corse doyal brunson and johnny chan for there 10 bracelets each. I also like Phil ivey.

Stu ungar.. found this story about him...One story Ungar recalled was when a known cheater called to set up a match with him. Ungar knew the man was a cheater as well but agreed to play him for money anyway. During the match, Ungar's bodyguard (sent by his financial backers because in those days the backers of a losing player at times assaulted or killed a winning player and took their money back) noticed the man was cheating. The bodyguard pulled Ungar aside and was irate while telling him. Ungar calmly told the bodyguard, "I know he's cheating. Don't worry. I'll beat him anyway," before doing so. What a player!!!
