Hey guys im playin my first LIVE tournement and im askin my self if its realy that important to watch for live tells????? or are they actualy not that accurate andbetter should watch for playstyles and bet ammounts??? can somebody give me some advice???

poker is a game of partial information, so you sould be looking for every bit of info u can get your hands on. personally i mostly use betting patterns do decide how to play hands but other things help aswell such as if i already know my oppenent and how he/she plays, wa i believe their skill level is at, body language and my intuition. so my advice is to play your normal game u always play use all the info u can and play well. good luck

theres a local poker game where i live every thursday and i went last night and watched a couple of my buddies.. (1 came in 1st last week and another one 1st this week) so i didnt play last night but will most likely play next week.. all i did was look for live tells and wow do they have alot.. so next week ill be able to use that info
