nothing strange here- really not a very known brand, and considering that a lot bigger brands are experiencing huge problems (and losing cash), those smaller operators are finding it really hard to compete with pokerstars/full tilt. maybe they should consider carving out a niche of some sort, cause competing directly with heavyweights is not a shrewd strategy

Merge accepts players from the US of A. So they have their niche in the poker world right now. But news from them are laways bad ones, at least in the last month.

I still haven’t received any email concerning that change. I don’t have an account at PDC Poker, but being a Merge client, they should inform everyone about this question, after all, it’s something concerning all the clients of the network.

This actiosn might be scarry for players but if you take a look at the big picture you realize that Rational group had over 50% of the online market today...
That being said smaller sites/networks need to join forces in order to survive!
This makes perfect sense, and in time I expect Aced Poker to be merged with Carbon thus creating the largest site on the Merge network.
PDC, Aced and Carbon are all owned by the same firm, and there is no justifiable reason to keep the three sites seperate. With FTP and PS now being the same company, Carbon have to maximise their potential else they will die slowly. They are simply getting everyone under the same umbrella and creating a brand that is able to compete in a very tough market.
