Glad you made this thread, it's a really interesting thread if you ask me
I think you should get tons of views at the end of the year if you update it regulary. After you make some $$$ from freerolls you'll start playing SNG?

I'll do freerolls until the end of the month and then DoN SnG's and the odd freeroll for some $T or a bigger prizepool.

I've had a horrible start to week 5! I'm playing some DoN SnG's and I can feel that I have what it takes to beat those tables but my luck just haven't been there. I've been bigstack and dealt AA when with 6 players left smallstack goes all-in trying to steal the blinds to stay in it. I call and he flips over 73o and flop comes AJ5, turn is a 6 and river is a 4. I then was middlestacked and kept getting dealt crappy cards. I turned lowstack and was dealt AKs. Went all-in only to be called by previous lowstack with 83o. Flop comes AK8, turn is 3 and river is another 3.
And that pretty much sums up my first few days this week. I'm down to only $15 right now so I have to hit a turning point soon or I'll be down to under 20 buy-ins before the week is over...

Well, the 5th week is over for me. It's been a terrible week with lots of setbacks. I was at one point down to just under $10 but I managed to turn it around and I now have a decent $17. I lost about $3 in total this week but I hope to make up for it during the next week.

I've had another crappy start this week. I'm down about $5 at the moment. I'm thinking about grinding the cash tables for a couple of hours so I get at least some of the losses back.

Alright, things are looking good this far for the end of the week. I'm on the plus side at the moment so we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out by the end of the day.

Posted by Macubaas: Good luck, nice to see that you recover what you lost and you are now on plus
Did you recover playing sng or you switched to cash games?
Keep us posted!
A little bit of both actually.
------------ Alright, so this week ended a lot better then expected considering the start I had. It started out with me being the victim of a number of bad beats and after 3-4 days I was down by a little bit more then $5. I managed to turn this around and end the week with a $6 profit. Let's hope next week ends the same!

Okey, so this thread has been bumped down quite a bit since I've failed to make updates. I'll start to update this thread again by the end of the week but here's the over all stats since my last update:
Week 7-19 (wednesday, still in progress) - Played - $97,63 Bankroll - $73,98 Profit

Well, the last few days of last weeks play didn't go as well as I would have hoped. I still have a decent profit for the last 13 weeks I think. $89,16 Profit for 13 weeks is an average of $6,86 a day.
I'm hoping this week will be a good one as well!
I've updated the main post so that it's easier to see how my bankroll has developed.
------------ Okey, I did the numbers wrong, the actual profit is $73,53 and that's an average of $5,66 a week.

Hello erru9107 and congrats for that good start, hope you'll make $1000 till the summer will start 2 weeks left, and i think you can make $10.000 till the 31 december if you don't withdraw, btw wish you GL and hope you win over than $10.000 this year (if the soft will let you do this and don't spamming you with Badbeats)

Maybe if he does he can pay out to his "poker winnings account" where he paid out 7 K in winnings last year he claimed....but now he's back to playing the micro stakes...seems logical..

Oh for facks sake, are you back on that again!? I'm only gonna say this ones and then I won't give a fack what you think!
I managed to reach 50k SWEDISH KRONORS (around $7k) from my ALL TIME WITHDRAWALS since I first started playing poker. That means that I had that profit for like 3 years of play. That's an average of under $200 per month, totally doable! And I also provided the evidence for that account as you asked for so don't facking say that I haven't done what you've asked to prove it!
Also, as I have said before, I used that money to buy furniture and other stuff for my apartment when I moved 1st of december last year.
And as I've said before, this is a fun challenge for me just to see what I can actually do with a decent bankroll and I wanted to make it more interesting by starting from $0 and see what I can make of it in one year. Before I always cashed out when I reached $100 or more and saved a few $ on my account.
A thing to remember with this challenge is also that now I'm working, A LOT, so I don't have as much time for poker as I did when I was unemployed which obviously means a slower bankroll development.
Now, with that being said, think whatever you want to, I don't give a rats ass. And keep whatever thoughts you have on the subject to yourself. I don't want to discuss this with you anymore, I've had enough of that.
CASE CLOSED!!!!
------------

Thank you! But I have a bit more realistic goals Since I don't play as much these days because of work my goal is to reach $150 before summer and $1000 before the end of the year. We'll have to see how it goes

you've had a nice start for the year ! I just wish you had time to put in some more volume i'm pretty sure you could accomplish your goals if you played a bit more than you now do ... But of course you have to work so it's Ok .. What kind of bankroll management rules are you using if I may ask you?

Well, I'm hoping I'll be able to reach my goals as well! Maybe next year I'll start with a $50 bankroll to get started a bit quicker Well, it depends on what type of games I'm playing. When I play cash I tend to have at least 75 buy-ins if possible but absolutely no lower then 25. For MTT's I have 100 buy-ins (obviously not playing many of those). For SnG's I have 50 buy-ins. I mainly make my money at the cash tables but I've grown tiered of those games so I'm working on improving my SnG skills at the moment, that's another reason why my bankroll isn't developing that fast.
