Simon... I really dont think it is a mystery. If you were the poker (or any other for that matter) site, where do you think the money would be going so that you could make a living out of providing the site?

Simon: if you're correct in what you're saying, I'd imagine it would be a bit of a scandal on whatever forum 888 players congregate, look into it I guess, I cbf as I don't play there and don't really care.. There's probably a reasonable explanation or something you've over-looked, because I doubt any legitimate site would try and get away with stealing $5K from the prizepool.
------------ Is the game still running? If it is it's possible the rebuy money isn't added to the prizepool until after the rebuy & add-on period finishes, in which case the prizes would stay exactly at $100K (the GTD) until then.

no this is just a 1 rb tournament I mentioned rb and add on because they should work the same way which ever, if the amount of rebuys are above the gtd £100k prize fund then all of the buy in rb should and usually is divided by the sites usual dividend on the amount of runners with a min and a max in this case the cash paid was $170 at the 140 runner cut off down to the winners cash of $21,000 this tournament is the one that ran last Sunday and is obviously not still running, but on 888 the number of runners paid and how much increases as the players register.
The figures I have put in the first post are correct and from that it is clear that some of the cash which must be added hasnt been, and for the person who mentioned that they want to make a profit then yopu are diluded has they make there profit from the rake that is paid ontop of the buy on on this occassion it is chopped into $82 buy in $8 rake.
So on that were has the cash gone above the gtd 100k gtd

Hello, Not all the money is going to the prize pool. They take 10% or almost 10% from a buy-in / rebuy / add-on. And all the sites are doing this, not only 888. Tbh i saw on 888poker they loose money in some tourney....with prize guaranteed.

i believe you havnt took reg fee out of your 1st calculations, if you do that then you will find that the price comes to around $98,728.
poker companies won't get away with robbing money from prizepool, if you feel so strongly about it i would advise you to get in contact with cust service asap.
