Because no-one likes spammers? Seems like your aim here is to accumulate points from posts, instead of just contributing something constructive. Try only posting if you have something good/unique/intelligent to add, otherwise just don't post or people will be annoyed.

Interesting point as most of my posts are deliberately kept short, so as not to get points.
