fairly straightforward question really, same rules apply: 1) community picks their choices (poll active until February 28th, finally got that right ) 2) sponsors/donors decide on the buy-in from top 3 community choices

You should make another thread with hour to play, one with dress code (casual or formal), one with break size, one with smoking or nonsmoking... ect.
So sad to see people so desperate for some points, and loose their time with childish things, instead to play poker to make some $$ or improve their game ... SAD!
$1.10 again i realy wanted to play the last home game i was going to transfer some funds from full tilt to stars but i lost it all on rush. i won $4 in a free roll on tilt and now its at $8 i will transfer some funds closer to the date. i staying of rush now .

Posted by marqis: If it's a freeroll, will Americans (or other real money excluded countries) be able to play?
If so, it would be most fair to not exclude anyone, since BRM is a sponsor...
No even if it was a freeroll you would still not be able to play because there is a cash prize. If you was to win you could not receive the prize therefore Stars can not allow you to register If they even think for a second there is any cash involved they MUST exclude all US players from taking part or they risk major criminal BS from the US government.

i think i should make another thread with the poll question: "should i say FCUK OFF to you, or not?"

While if I were definitely playing I would *prefer* a higher buyin, I think $1.10 seems like a pretty fair / decent amount. Any lower and the prize-pool is going to be pretty weak and any higher and some people may not be able to play.

yeah agree with jess (and a bunch of other mobsters)- $1.10 seems a fair choice. also have in mind that usually our tourneys have 2 rebuys & 1 add-on...so if we follow same tradition here, those options might increase overall prize-pool a bit more. actually i though most people will choose freeroll, so i'm a bit stunned here

Hi Pochui.
I go with $1.10 buy in, but I think one rebuy and one add-on would be enough. Some people might not pay potentially $4.10, the alternative would be to have no rebuys or add-ons and just one buy-in fee of $2.00 total.............I'm not sure................
I rely on your choice - that's why you are good at this........................

yeah Marc, agree with you- question for rebuys/addons is not pretty clear. we will decide on it later, still plenty of time until the tourney kicks off. imo rebuys/addon have some positives: it gives you a chance for a mistake/bad beat or two & it increases the overall prize-pool...and you can easily do without any rebuys..addon is also optional...not sure on this...lets leave it for other time (but i would like to hear ideas from brm'ers for sure). thanks Marc for raising the question

$1.10 is reasonable, just hope I still have them in my cashier when the time comes to play it, or else I don’t know what to do. Last times I’ve been playing micro at FT and things aren’t going bad at all, I’m actually increasing some cents every time I have a chance to play, and you know what they say, the chicken fills the stomach grain by grain. But I wasn’t thinking about needing to transfer $1.10 from FT to PS just to play this, so I hope things run well at PS too, and looking forward to run nice at this tourney too, I’m not entering to lose!

$1.10 seems to be the favourite vote. I was thinking it before I looked at the statistics. Its a reasonable amount in which most people can afford. (including those of us with current goals). I think I can go outside of my rules for personal bankroll management to join this tournament. I'm looking forward to playing with my fellow BRM poker players.
