Logging into William Hill poker this morning, one of their popup screens has several superheroes, including The Hulk and The Thing, which got me to thinking, "Who is stronger?" I know it has nothing to do with poker, but what the hell, who do you think is stronger? For more info you can find it here:

lol yeah but if the hulk hit him too hard, The Thing would compress into a diamond and there's nothing in the world tougher than a diamond NOW it's over! hehe

Well mahdrof I just want to say, it is quite the post coming from you so it does appear you need the weekend. I'll vote for anything, but samtoace, although the person doesn't really annoy me as I act at times. He's just crazy!
I vote for the Thing though!
Another thing! I'm 49 years old and never been without a job other then when I moved to Arizona to take care of my Father who had cancer. Anyway I am laid off due to our company just lost 70% of their business. Unbelieveable how things can change in a minute! Anyway, my point is, withing 3 hours of being laid off I get a call for another job which I was actually hoping to sit back and collect unemployment until my wife and I took our million dollar chance trip to Vegas.
You looking forward to the weekend made me feel the same about being off work about 4 weeks. I'm no deadbeat, never went without working and have paid into unemployment for decades so all I wanted was about four weeks of it. I mean, never lived above my means so I could afford it. Hell, unemployment is $400.00 a week for me which I know, isn't poop, but I would get by until the trip was over. Can't refuse a job or unemployment will not pay you so damn! Probably back to work without the break.

Well, I had my cub scout pack doing winter camp last weekend in the Laurentian mountains, and although the weather was perfect and the kids and leaders alike had a blast, by the time it was over I got home Sunday at 6:00PM. So ever since Monday morning I have been looking forward to the weekend! My wife's birthday is coming up so her and I will go out a bit tomorrow night which will be a nice change.
I know what you mean about wanting to take a small break from work, however the older you get the harder it is to find another job so maybe it is all for the best Greenie. Good luck with it!
