G'day Sir
I have been having a problem over the last few day now. It seems that whenever i open up any threads last message it opens up fine. I see the desired lost post in the thread for 1 - 2 seconds then flash the page just go's blank, it then reloads the entire page back to the top message on the page. This forces me to once again scroll all the way down a page to get to the message which I want to read. Ok this is annoying and I could live with this but sometimes it does it more then once on the same thread page before I am allowed to read the message. I can not imagine this is good for your server.
My question is this ...
Did you do something to the site or has my Microsoft Chrome search engine done something. My system claims i have NO viruses or spyware. However every time I am on your site i keep getting new pop up windows asking me to download new flash updates and i'm getting new adware pop ups too. I swear it is not happening on any other sire I use just BRM.

Hey Ronin!
Whatever has changed for you,....hasn't changed for me. I've made 1,...and replied to several threads today,...and everything is in good working order here.
Maybe you've downloaded something new and it's interfering...???

I have NOT downloaded anything new at all that I know about for at least a week. The problem has been going on now for 3-4 days.

Please explain what I can do to fix this problem.

sounds strange...do u use Microsoft Explorer or Google Chrome as your browser? Can use booth at the same time here. If you use Google Chrome make sure you have the latest version and updates. Don't think one shud download anything else before one verifies their browser. PC World and cnet are safe downloading sites and Major Geeks as well.

Nothing has changed here and I don't have the problem either. Some of our banners are flash based so if you are getting popups about flash needing to update, I guess it's possible that flash is taking you back to the top for whatever reason?

Thank you for the fast reply. I have updated all my computer drivers and it has not helped. Completely confused about how to proceed now. I am going to try using Firefox as a web browser to see it it still does it or not. Will keep you updated as to what I learn.

------------ Ok I have downloaded Firefox and have been testing it out. So far I am having absolutely no problems with the site. This tells me the problem has something to do with my chrome browser.

I also realized that Chrome is the worst to visit BRM. I never have any problems when i used IE or Firefox, but Chrome always deconfigurate some stuff. And some times the info don't even appear. But that's no big deal, the site is better made for other ISP, so we use others. sometimes i really have to use Chrome and that's why i keep having some bugs, but whenever i can i enter with Firefox.

My primary browser is Safari which is based on webkit, the same as Chrome. I have no problems with webkit (Safari) on BRM, and Chrome seems fine too, but since I don't use Chrome daily, I can't say for sure if there are some issues, so feel free to report them, as we would like to support Chrome - it's a widely used browser.

Yeah could be the browser or any of the add ons you use. I personally use Mozilla Firefox latest version and always update all addons (flash player, java etc) as soon as they become available. You should try to install the latest version of Firefox (or Chrome), Both are faster too than Internet Explorer anyway so you already enjoy some benefits

I don't have any problems. You should use Mozilla Firefox as a browser. I think it is better than Internet Explorer. May be you should check your antivirus program.
By the way I have red some news a week ago, that there is a new virus, which invites you to download the newest version of flash player I think was. I am not sure. Or may be it could be an advertisement. But be careful with this.
It could be a virus. Don't download it. You should ask someone who is an IT specialist to check your computer.

I am using Chrome in daily basis and had no problems of this type at all Sometimes i lose the images after a clean up (cookies cache etc) but with a couple of reloads it works fine. Try to uninstall your browser, clean up and then install again.

Had similar issues some time ago with Chrome...wound up removing it completely and reinstalled the latest version along with the security updates...the latest update is very important. There is a Flash update going around that is a virus. Since accomplishing all this must say haven't had one issue with Chrome since.

The funny thing is that i have spoken with a friend last night that is also a BRM member but he didn't post and told me that he had similar problems to Ronin.
In the end he re-installed flash and it was good. Of course you need to uninstall it first.
