Well maybe don't I understand anything but I still don,t see the point on playing play money poker... you seem to know the game so why keeping playing that type of game. You might be running hundred table it's still just play money poker so nothing to see with some real action poker... maybe is it close to freeroll action but freeroll can lead you to some money and there's plenty of freeroll to try instead of loosing your time with play money...

You have to look at those tourney on the good side. A marathon of play money can be defined by many as "working for nothing", but if you think well, that's the best way to practice. You will find all kinds of players playing in the most variable ways with the most different combination of cards they can get, which means you never know what you can get as an opponent, because either he can be bother-playing-all-in-72, or super-tight-only-all-in-AA, and you will have to be focused enough to realized which one are you playing against in each hand.

A few people are missing the point... I didn't do this to gain anything. I am a winning player already, and I don't need to learn the game. I did this to see what lessons can be learned so I can pass something on to the community...

I like your marathon!
I think I will follow your steps one weekend Big Smile ....it seems funny to try different poker games.

About gaining something, may be you could search whether websites which change play money for cash still exist. There always people willing to buy some play money chips, so if you get more than one million chips you could sell them.

I'm not quite sure whether this is allowed by PokerStars or not, but you could take a look on the Internet.

Good luck and very nice idea btw!

Thanks plexo! It was kinda fun, but it was tough too...

What I wanna do now, sticking with the multitabling and marathon theme, is to attempt to play EVERY 10cent 360 man turbo tournament for a full 24 hours. I doubt that's ever been done before, so I'd love to give it a shot.

They take around 3-5 minutes to fill up, depending on the time of day, so that's 15 per hour on average, which would be 360 a day. So at most, if I don't cash at all - it'll cost $36. Is like to attempt it starting with say, $3 to make it challenging.

Better start bashing some freerolls to make $3 Smile

Then its on. Next challenge - starting from $3, play every 10 cent 360 man turbo over a full 24 hour period... And turn a profit.

you're a real masochist...have you considered a new marathon- watch every tournament replay for 24 hours & then pass the knowledge to the community
