The Canadian Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu has been running very well this year. Last month, he won the WSOP APAC Main Event for $1,087,160 and received his fifth gold bracelet. After 44 events at three different buy-in levels (132 tournaments in total), this year's SCOOP festival has awarded record-breaking $75,585,305 in prize money.
PokerStars' online series has broken all previous records and later today three of the largest prizes will be handed out to the series' Main Event winners.

I was one of those guys that tend to confuse things: the pros we hear about aren't the same persons that every days wins lots of tourneys on the online rooms. They actually got that place (most of them) by playing cash, and tourneys are just a way to spend that extra free time. Good for Daniel!
