PokerStars' annual EPT awards ceremony is almost upon us and voting is currently taking place for the Achievement of the Year and Players' Choice Awards. Following the tour's finale in Monte Carlo, Slovakia's Jan Bendik was crowned Season 9 Player of the Year after collecting 3,605 points and finishing above Steve O'Dwyer (2,650) and Robert Haigh (2,440). Also set to be recognised for the achievements in the forthcoming ceremony will be Norway (Best Performing Country), Marcel Luske (Mixed Game Player of the Year) and Vladimir Troyanovskiy (High Roller of the Year).

there are rumors that in this years EPT awards pochui's thread "Melons Spot" is going to get the most coveted prize of them all- "golden boobs with pocket aces in between" statue... sky bet is offering 3/1 odds on pochui getting the "worst freeroll player of the year award" too...could be an epic night for me
