Yea you got lucky there. I was on the other side a couple of days ago in a qualifier, and my aces lost to AK suited. When i saw the 2 suited cards in the flop had a feeling which came true on the river. That player said sorry btw, but i will never understand that, why they say sorry.

For some it's an etiquette thing...to apologize when they hit their out on the river. Most won't becoz they see holdem as a five card game...depends on the individual

Got over tilt understanding it's a five card game and anything can happen on the river. Now, usually say nice hand and move on. Nice hand btw.
yep gotta say that you got lucky on that one but it seem like a classical pokerstar hand that finally turn in favor of the good one For once, it's not a mobster telling us this exact hand but whom had that pocket aces and got cracked runner runner.

Getting AAA,...I guarantee you that buddy was salivating ALL OVER that thinking he'd be taking YOUR chips...and I doubt there'd have been any apologies...lol...
...why apologize,....nobody forced buddy to play his hand,...yet alone getting involoved in a game involving betting money....
