The MPN, formerly known as the Microgaming Network, has just introduced a new heads-up system designed to tackle bum-hunting. Following the recent industry trend of making games less exploitable for regs, the MPN has revamped its fast-fold software to create 8-Man Blaze tables. Replacing all regular heads-up cash tables, the new 8-Man games will use the MPN's Blaze Poker software but only allow players to enter a pool once. Moreover, each pool will be limited to eight players, which means experienced heads-up players won't be able to sit out and only feast on any fish that sit down. The new games will be available across all MPN rooms, including UnibetPoker, 24h Poker and Ladbrokes Poker.
I personnaly don't agree with that procedure. I like bim hunting and think it's a fair way to make money by playing poker... of course it's sad for fish but why to start caring about those poor player anyway... Like to play with some great player too but still need to be able to recognize my fish at my table

This new hu system sounds verry nice and i think not only the rooms at the microgaming network use this system in the future. And a eight player pool is ok for the beginning. Let us see what happened with this new pool system

The system sounds interesting but i guess only time will tell if it will prove more profitable than the actual one...
I mean i already imagine that someone that it's a bit smart could really take advantage of this system and actually get some $ from the regs instad of the other way around.

I believe one of their major concerns of course is to increase their income. And one way of course is to make money last longer in the tables, thus generating more rake for them.
