Officials of UKIPT have just announced the details of their forthcoming event in Galway, Ireland. Taking place between July 27 and August 12, the latest stop on the tour will see a specially constructed poker village host 60 tournaments, including a €1,100 Main Event. Boasting a €1,000,000 guarantee, the Main Event will be the pinnacle of what is set to be the largest poker festival ever held in Europe. Also being served up in Galway will be a number of other events, including the UK vs. Ireland Heads-Up Championship, a Pot Limit Omaha Championship and an Open Face Chinese event.

More than one million guaranteed fo the last step of the ukipt in ireland are really great. This tourney series growth in the last years and includes a lot of nice side events. Another chance to win a big price and the payout structure are verry interesting.

I've been trying everyday to qualify through PokerStars' UK only freerolls. Got close to qualifying for the final a few times - but keep falling short. Still - I'll keep on trying.
