Any1 had any luck on any freeroll?
I decided to play one yday on unibet, considering I had some spare time
it was a €200 freeroll, started at 9.15
I thought it would finish or I would finish quite soon but hell no...
It lasted till 1.25, which means it took more than 4hs, it was quite insane, I played my best poker I could, which means tight and playing my position.
I made the final table, being the small stack, hoping to make some more money by hoping the other gayzies would attack eachother, which they did.
In no time only 5 players were left, me still as the small stack, just in time I got pocket kings in earliest position, I went all in 6times the blinds, 2 callers, and no ace came up and both callers had one;
after that I had to fold everything till I was heads up, he had 6times my stack and the first hand we played was A 5 vs 7 5 I went all in and he called and he got a straight on the river

well, I've won €38 which is not bad at all, the only sad things was that the heads up didn't last long cause he got lucky but hey, I've went from 0 to 38, no complaints here. the €200 freeroll starts again in 1h, want to see if I can do better than yday Big Smile Cool Blink , same strategy,
wish me good luck

------------
forgot to mention, there were 4554 registered players, which makes me even more proud of the position I ended with.

Nice, GL in the next one. Its gonna be tough to top your last performance, lol. By the way, did you lose your Unibet Bankroll, is that why you're at $0?

That freeroll on Unibet is a real joke, because it has unlimited rebuys until first break. The best freerolls are found at Gnuf Poker. Try it, $500 prize pool and only between 800 - 900 entrants. Thumbs Up

Yes I did lost it but not in poker...

I can say of myself I know a lot about sports... haha Tongue

well it is roland garros, the place to be for free money
so I took it all on venus to win the second set after she won the first easily and the odd was 1.11

well... she was playing some Israelian veteran, number 100 or so in the world, never heard of her actually so that says enough
Venus took the lead 4 1 and after that she totally collapsed, losing 5!!! games in a row which means she lost the set 6 4

well, this was free money for sure but somehow, don't ask me how, ask venus, it turned out to be different.

there are different freerolls on unibet, you've got the €100 freerolls around 5 o'clock which are unlimited rebuy for €0.01 the first h but there are tourneys all day were you can enter if you played 1 raked hand that day and the best of all, there are normal freerolls at 7 o'clock for 500$, rebuy still allowed but it's 0.50$ and the tourney is was talking about was the €200 unibet daily freeroll which starts at 9.15 every day, with €0.5 rebuy first h, you can say they are one of the best freeroll maniacs Worship

If it is a meaningless freeroll I have a different strategy then on a normal tourney
For a freeroll with over a 1000 of registered players you really do need to play as agressive as you can in the beginning hoping to double up or triple up or even more, it is quite easy cause you would get several callers on an all in because it is just a free roll..

well I couldn't complain with my starting hand, I had the rockets and I went all in pre flop in early position knowing/hoping I would get at least one caller and 2 players called me, and luckely nobody caught two pair or better

After that I didn't play too many hands waiting for a decent hand to take down big pots, that is actually how I played till we were with 10 left, which went really fast, probably because I decided not to watch how many players were left after I was in the money, and that did help

I was lucky in the first place to make the final table cause I was the tightest person due to bad starting hands and folding medium hands like K Q on raises, but I knew I would get better hands if I just hold on and with a couple of double ups on the right time with the right hand I made it

On the final table I had one of the lowest stacks and didn't play much at all in the beginning hoping people would go crazy which they did

In no time I was in the top 5 and say my money increase more and more but at that moment I really did need the double up

on the perfect moment I got pocket kings, early position, went all in got 2 callers again but luckely I had the best hand, after that I folded myself into 3handed action me as the small stack again against 2 big stacks with the same amount of chips

3rd place was €22, 2nd 38 and first 5 7, I actually didn't had any hopes on the number one spot...

well one of the small stack went all in on the turn an the other one called with a straight and he won... I was glad with the €38 although I could have won it...

First hand heads up...

Normal freerolls are usualy a waste of time. Up to 10.000 opponents and it is no poker. It is more a lottery. Only good to test the software.

Forums/league freerolls with say 100 people offer a better chance.
