Hi all, I visited Macau this year and did not really experience the kind of gambling and entertainment I had expected. Even so they say Macau is bigger than Vegas I think I would still prefer Vegas. Macau is too serious. I did not see many smiles or someone who could have a drink and relax while gambling. Most of all it seemed if I would speak to someone they would look at me like I disturbed?
Also I could not find out if alcohol was illegal because everyone were drinking water and coffee.
Does anyone have other knowledge? Did I maybe go to the wrong places? I have heard that MGM area maybe has fun and some nightlife even so but I found out too late and had to go home.

macau is ok if you want to play casino games but will be really disappointed if you wanna play poker unless u hve truckoad of money. its hard to find low limit nlhe games and there is a big queue for that too, most of the players are serious grinders and u'll hardly find some1 spewing their chips. im not sure if u can even find othet variants of poker there. was planning to go there last year but changed my mind after friend's review
