With effect today, games up to PLO25 will see a noticeable lowering of the rake, with what PokerStars believes is the lowest rake on any major online room. In addition, players at NL/PL games up to $0.05/$0.10 will continue to earn rewards faster due to their higher VPP multipliers compared to the 5.5x/6x offered at other games: $0.01/$0.02: 10x $0.02/$0.05: 8x $0.05/$0.10: 6x

Great move from pokerstars, now more traffic to plo tables.
And yeah they lowered rake but still earns same VPPs, great overall, I started studying PLO and this is fantastic news, more monies, easier to beat the rake!

well those 10x multipliers on the $0.01/$0.02 tables does look sweet, coupled with the horrible -EV decisions low stakes "pro's" are constantly making i might consider having a go at those nosebleed stakes. now if only i get that 10x multiplier on my cock enlargement pills...

With so much money they are making at the moment they could have lowered the rake in holdem too. And even after that, it wouldnt be much of a difference for them in terms of earnings...
