A new security feature designed to limit the potential of hackers has just been announced by PokerStars. Available in the site's latest update, the new software will alert players via an SMS message when any irregularities occur on their account. Once a potential threat has been detected, a player will need to enter the SMS security code before any actions (such as a deposit, transfers, or withdrawals) can take place on their account. Similar to SMS security procedures on sites such as PayPal, the alerts will be free and players will simply need to register their mobile number. At present the update is being trialled in a few countries before it's rolled out to all players.

what do I have to do to get my pkrstrs acct going again I transferred money to my brother on the same network I think that's why they cut me off will I be able to fix it and deposit / play again that's dum I think I need to upload my id and tell them how I know the person I sent $ to why cant they just take my id instead of going threw all that crap about how do you know the person you sent money to can bankrollmob help
if you haven't already...u'll need to contact support and ask them why. then u'll need to comply with all the requests for the info they need. Sounds like a history problem with the person you transferred money to, or a case of mistaken identity. Either way if you don't comply, they have the hammer. Have transferred funds many times myself without any probs. If for example you and your brother use the same computer with the same IP address, they may think you're the same person with multi accounts. GL with this

Nothing that BRM can do here, or anyone else. The whole thing is in your hands. You need to contact them, ask them what happened, and then follow their requests, which of course will be account verification.

Yep contact support they will help you, they understanding, just proves that there is really 2 person.

As for the sms feature, this is a new one, and this shows how pokerstars takes good care of your account, that is why they are trusted and I used them often!
