Anybody else playing in these tourneys for an entry into the big money live tournament in Montreal?
Would CERTAINLY be nice to win the $1,100 buy in for THAT!!!
I'm half way there! Last night I played one of the satellite freerolls for a ticket into the 2nd round. The sole winner of that gets the the ticket to the tourney in Montreal. Winning the satellite was the easy part...came in 23rd or 27th out of over 3,000 entrants. Top 50 there moves on... The HARD part is getting the 1st place out of the hundreds entered in round 2. Only 1 ticket per tourney played. I guess there are several tourneys in which a ticket can be won.
Does anybody know if Full Tilt pays your travel and accomodations...or are you on your own?
Isn't that the same Promotion on Party Poker the WPT in Montreal if your a new player your almost guaranteed a 300 satellite ticket into the main satellite event where 1 5000 seat is guaranteed depending on the amount of entrants in the main event satellite nice free roll promotion BTW if you have never created a real money account on Party Poker and are residing in Canada now is your chance

Decided to look at the chip leaders when I got knocked out and saw you on top. I observed your table at one point and saw that your whole table was sitting out lol. Nice to know you got that far at least.

In such promotions it is stated every time if they cover up expenses. And in most cases they dont. So you get the buy in and you need to reach down in your pockets for the tickets and stay in

I don't see anywhere on the promotion page where it says whether or not they cover the travel and accommodations,....so I just assume they don't.
Montreal is about $200 worth of gas round trip from where I'm at. I have no idea what a room would cost for a few days,...but you certainly don't want a cheap one that comes complete with cockroaches, bed-bugs and those funny spots on the sheets that glow under a black-light...
