EPT Barcelona kicked off this week and ahead of the €5,300 Main Event, which gets underway on Sunday, the festival will see another Estrellas tournament take place . Since merging with the EPT the regional Spanish tour has grown in popularity and in Barcelona a number of pros are expected to sit down for the €1,100 contest. While the two aforementioned events will form the backbone of the EPT's first stop, a number of other tournaments will also be on offer, including a €10,300 heads-up championship and a €50,000 Super High Roller.

Running in conjunction with EPT Barcelona, this year's €1,100 The Estrellas Poker Tour event welcomed 1,798 runners to beat the 1,626 player record previously held by UKIPT Nottingham. Thanks to a mixture of locals and international pros, such as Vanessa Selbst, Kevin MacPhee and Daniel Negreanu, the success of the event certainly bodes well for EPT Barcelona's Main Event.

They're running EPTLive freerolls on PokerStars this week for that event.... They're pretty easy to cash in,...but they are rife with cheating cockroaches with multiple accounts,....worse than BankrollMob, Hubble, or any of the other freerolls... Out of the 30,000 entrants,...I'd suspect about 2,000 to 3,000 or maybe even more are duplicate or multiple accounts...
Ya just gotta play conservatively,...any only your premium hands and have a little patience...
