The high stakes poker player is suing the producers of a war film called Lone Survivor. To help raise funds the film's the producers garnered a selection of investors who each donated $1 million to get a credit in the film. However, Bilzerian's support came with the caveat the he'd get eight minutes on screen. Unfortunately, his acting weren't good enough to make the final cut and he is now pursuing a lawsuit worth $1.2 million.

It must be a new Hollywood trend ..... I was sure, that people get pay for acting in a movies, now they have to pay for it even a million of $. So maybe they will pay us also for watching the final product in the Cinemas ?

People with money wants to make their dreams come true, no matter what the cost is. That is true for publishing books, making a music CD or a show and even being in the movies. It was more common for the father to get his daughter a place in the movies but today's millionaires can be so young and foolish to want to do it themselves
