Just found this classic vid/clip of 'Clifornia Split' on YT a Rare Gem of a dark comedy/ poker movie for it's time, i rem watching it when i was a teen with my dad who loved rummy & performed great card tricks,: enjoy peeps now i need to find out where to watch full movie: ))

Thanks for the tip, this will be interesting. I like Altman as a director, but I didn't even know this movie existed.
I could have got it, after reading your post, from a site that some people consider a bit shady I think you know what I mean. There are like 9 seeders, but I if had chosen to download it, which would have been illegal, which is why I did not do it, it would have been done in like 30 minutes or something. (I ain't saying I downloaded anything illegaly here, but I could have.)

Thanks for the tip mate. The only poker movie i saw was some lamme one that passed on tv some years back. Fortunately i can't even remember the name lol. Just remember the final table with some mushy scene where the main guy ( the poker God himself) folds his AA against his daddy's KK .
Would be nice to see a good poker movie for a chance. If this one you say it's good, i'll find the time to give it a try.
