ok lets say we are on the button in a 6-max cash game with 100bb and we have AJo , we raise 3bb and the bb 3-bet us for 9bb and based on his stats and image , we are 100% sure its a resteal with a wide range like Axs , 22+ , KQo+ , ATo+ , 45s+ , his stack is 100BB aswell , our hand is certainly ahead of this range therefore folding isnt an option but how are we gonna proceed here? lets see some options:
1. Calling with the intention to play hit/fold on the flop isnt really profitable because we hit only 1 in 3 , also even if we flop top pair we can still fold if we face extreme strength on turn or river , we need to have a plan to steal the pot even if we dont hit through floating or reraising.
2. 4-betting is our second option , we can easily fold against a 5-bet but we are in trouble if he calls our 4-bet and we hit the flop since his call looks very strong.
Questions:
1. what flops are good for reraising a cbet on a 3-bet pot?
2. in the example above , how would you continue with AJo if you 4-bet the opponent and he called and you flopped top pair? how far would you narrow his range?
3. Overall , whats your plan for combating resteals?

1. yes they did build houses form straw and sh1t back in the 80's 2. things are too complicated for me to understand, still i believe that you are unsure whether big melons are any better than small ones... 3. 3-betting while sitting over an oval poker table is more advantageous than 3-betting over a square one.
