Inspired by Ronin, this thread is for mobsters to post there 2014 poker goals, the format I would like us to stick to is exampled below, please edit your own previous post at the end of each month, try not to remove any items, even if that goal was not met,
EXAMPLE ONLY for 3pokeronly - not accurate as I am still considering my final goals and obviously I do not know my final balance
So my 01/01/2014 entry would look something like this...
01/01/2014 Bankroll dedicated to poker $5.95. ( i.e. do not include savings etc.) January expected or forecast deposits $0.00. January expected or forecast BRM or other bonus's $0.00. January bank roll target $21.00. 2014 bank roll target $4200.00, includes $3,500.00 for ANZPT. 2014 main goal - Enter ANZPT Auckland Main Event approximately $3,500.00 buy in.
and my 01/02/2014 entry would be amended to look something like this...
01/01/2014 Bankroll dedicated to poker $5.95. January expected or forecast deposits $0.00. January expected or forecast BRM or other bonus's $0.00. January bank roll target $21.00. Month end notes: I had one good win, then blew a bunch of money playing pissed and stoned one night, good weed though, got some more $$'s playing some solid SNG, I still do not have enough to play cash game, hopefully next month, my personal rating for this months performance is C-, a pass, but could do better. 01/02/2014 Bankroll dedicated to poker $18.97. February expected or forecast deposits $0.00. February expected or forecast BRM or other bonus's $10.00. note PS milestone clearance. February bank roll target $47.00. 2014 bank roll target $4200.00, includes $3,500.00 for ANZPT. 2014 main goal - Enter ANZPT Auckland Main Event approximately $3,500.00 buy in.
So, Mobsters you have about 3 weeks to think about and finalise your 2014 goals, hopefully this will provide some motivation and or inspiration to try to reach that elusive next level, not too fussed if you change the format a bit to more accurately reflect your goals and or preferences.
Finally, as per the above, I would like to keep this thread nice and clean as each post should grow at the end of each month, so any discussion's around funding, bonuses, bank roll management etc etc. should not be posted here, please find the most suitable forum to post those sort of requests or discussion points.
If you want post a blank post sooner rather than later, something like "01/01/2014 TBC" is enough for now and remember to update at the start of the year and then each month after that.

3pokeronly. I have to say I found this idea really thought provoking and something that I must give serious consideration to as I can tend to just play and see what happens, notwithstanding pretty efficient bank roll management and tend to miss opportunities for games that I have thought I would play, so will give much consideration to this (or something similar ) over the coming weeks.

Every year in december since 2007, i want to reach the supernova status on stars. And give it up after some suckouts in january. But i try it again, to reach a ept tourney (Barcelona or Berlin) with the steps. I Thing, this is the best chance to play a big live tourney the first time without a big bankroll.

well 3P either i'm really dumb (too cocky to admit it) or you make things look really complicated...i just go on with sth like this: my goal for 2014 is to win wsop main event and build my roll from $0 to $25.651 playing exclusively freerolls- the point is to keep everything simple and realistic

My goal, similar to DaCapo, is to be Supernova at PokerStars. However it is more a dream than a realistic goal since I have never reach to Gold status ever
