Variance is an overwhelming part of poker. When you are winning variance is great but vice versa when you are losing. You must learn that variance is just part of the game and ride the waves

I will comment the last part of that essay.
Don't blame yourself about the lack of will. All we are humans and all we have somekind of defects. For example I have lack of will to stop the cigarettes. I remembet three years ago I was in India and I was in a town where they don't sell cigarettes and alcohol anywhere.
So I was pretty happy because one month I didn't smoke any cigarettes. But when I went home to Bulgaria, I started to smoke again! Silly me!
