Nam Le is a truly great player but even he will have to get extremely lucky to win this thing. There are two overwhelming chip leaders but there is nearly always a twist in these big events

It's interesting to calculate the inflation rate through this event. Back in 2006, the first prize was $1,198,300 and now, eight years after, the big one "only" increased $58,260, which means less than $10k per year. I know it's a lot of money, but wouldn't you expect a bigger rate? Who cares, i guess even Nam Le isn't that much worried with this question and he can win the $1,256,560 first prize, so why should hi be?

The Chinese taking over the world, anyway good luck to him, not sure he will win though, he has a medium stack, just hope he runs good and he wins, Asian players are good, well maybe it's just a coincidence but they are good at maths and cards etc.

There are no east tables anymore in poker especially at this level - Nam has already won a s**t load, gotta be an underdog for the title with a small stack. So easy to bully the others when you lead with 129bb like Mukul.

I never heard about Pahuju, but to sit at the final as chipleader table in a tourney with over 700 starting Players are verry great. And this WPT in San Franzisko with a prize pool over 1.2 Million $ was amazing.
