Evil SHOULD POKER BE AN OLYMPIC SPORT.man that would be sick.they class poker as a sport so why not.representing your country in a poker tournament for a gold medal. Big Smile hopefully one day they include it.what do you players out there think.

I think ot would be quite hard as its not recongnised as a sport unlike bridge!!
if i remember right the last time it was looked in to the offcials say its a game of luck, BS, you can apply luck to any sort of sport or game, this does not mean skill and hard work has not gone in to it, but overall no it should not be an olympic (game) all olympic games should be for athleats, no snooker, no golf, chess etc, but it would be nice to see some sort of olympic styled skill game, like the WSOP lol.........

the "East vs West Cup" at the CCC (Concord Card Casino) Wien? part of the Spring Festival there in march? Tony G and Marcel Luske played and also some others. it was a fresh lineup of eastern europeans against a strong lineup of western europeans. Björn Kärsten won and some pressfolks were talking about the return of the cold war at the poker table. it was pretty unolympic but indeed something like a nations competition... Smile

come on i dont want poker to be called a sport at all,i mean ok tourneys got something to do with sports because you need good stamina and so on.
but no ,not in a million years should poker be olympic or even close where do we get with that?
there is the world series of poker and thats good,we dont need no olympic poker .
