Even if they have a lot of money besides what they put above the tables, how can they still give any value to the money when living and playing life outside the tables? Not kidding, it must somehow difficult for them to deal with that. "I would like to have a new car." Now what: "Guess i'm gonna invite the seller for some heads up..." or "Diesel or gasoline? Gasoline's cheaper but spends more on fuel...".

Its funny Gus used to be highly respected and is still clearly a poker legend - however he's no banking like Doyle etc have. He seems to be pissing his money away and I can only figure some rich people are backing him.

I like Gus MORE than I like that MORON Viktor Blom....
Gus doesn't strike me as the millionaire type... He looks more to me like a guy who lives in a dumpster somewhere in the seedy part of town... Poor guy...
...but I wouldn't be surprised if Blom turns up in a dumpster one of these days, the way he has a knack for LOSING big money...
I seen Gus take down a WPT event awhile back he was heads up against John Juanda his KK stood up against AJ he's good he will probably win that loss back in a couple days

Gus Hansen seems to be on the longest losing streak ever. This guy was probably the second best player in the world{behind Phil Ivey} for a couple of years not so long ago but now he cant buy a win. I hope he gets back to winning ways soon
