Hi,
They certainly give u cdpoints for entering tournaments, but i dnt think they do for freerolls. and they dnt give much either, they only give u 3 points for a $1 sng. max is 40 points for a tournament but u need the highest vip lvl. will be pretty hard to achieve 1200 points by just playing tournaments.

Can you also tell me how you can raise your VIP level ? does it have to do with the amount of money you have, and when your money raises your VIP level raises... or do you have to play at tables with high blinds/buy ins to raise it ?

Points are given by in base of the money you spend in tournament fees and ring games rake... so if you play freerolls you don't pay tournament fees therefore you don't get any point
