Today i play 10 tabled sit n go. Start 1500 chips. In 1st hand i get KK in early position. I raise to 140 (blinds 10/20). In late position some1 calls.
Flop T J 2 rainbow. I bet 200.... He raise to 400... I was thinking he cud have AA TT AJ KQ JJ KJ ect After 20sec i had to call...
Turn 7... I bet 100 just to see what he does... After 1sec he folds...
Strange not? Was he hitting the wrong button in beginning? Was he bluffing in 1st round? Very strange after a big raise not?

Its strange, I find myself facing the same situation but I'm on the other end lol. I'd probably reraise you all in on the turn But would have folded preflop. $5 or $10 buy in?

He was on a draw (my guess) and your small bet got him suspicious and got him to fold. Not sure if he was calculating pot odds etc. He also could have a read on u and therefore folded

in reality there are over 5millionreasons why he rearaise, mabie he had threekind, but then thought it was too weak and folded, best saying in pokerwhen the hand is over move on to the next.the last hands gone.
I think he tested if You were bluffing, by reraising You and tried to buy the pot after the flop. When You called the raise he knew You had a decent hand and folded.
Not a clever move in the first hand, since he had no information about Your style. But a move an aggressive player makes from time to time.

Yep id go with that you called his bluff, id put him on low pockets, overplaying them and gets stung, also most 1st hands tend to be a little strange, think sometimes its an ego thing

Not long back on Full Tilt I saw an Identified Pro Player make a fold on a $4,000 heads up pot on the river over a $50 bet. Sometimes, $1 more is too much, when you know you're beat

What you think?
I think he only tried to scary you away since the flop wasn't rich in high cards and it was rainbow.... what to say.... he tried and he realized you had a pocket pair

I have nice situation in stngo last week. I was holding TJs at the dealer. LAG player who plays all hands raises from SB 3 x BB, I re-reaise him to 6 x BB. ( blinds were 25/50) Flop A9J he bet 1/2 pot I raise and he calls turn was 8. He checks I bet 3/4 pot and he folds and say: " do you have AA, or AK?because I see my KK is not good "

Most of the times playing aggressively pays more than being passive. He re rerised pre flop and that gave him the strength on his opponent eyes to keep on betting hard
