I was playing a game on partypoker this morning and i'm registered to play a $200K qualifier , when partypoker crashed, it happened just as i went allin had the nuts, it's been about 45 min and they still havn't fixed the problem so I assume both my buyin's are history.
Party Poker always having technical problems can't login either most poker sites have Sunday as the most traffic on any given day never have problems with Stars and 888

Yea - their site is still down... I know they have tech probs from time to time but I've never seen it like this where you can't log on at all.. At least once or twice a day it freezes on me and that is that for a few mins... my hand just checks or fold on the time out until it either lets me start playing again or I reboot my PC.. Maybe I haven't seen this before because I don't usually play on a sunday.

Still down - wondering what happens to my buy-ins? Registered in 200K and others - will this be happening all day. Crazy considering it is a Sunday - all big money tourneys and that - oh well just have to wait...........GL all when you get in................

I'm sure they'll refund buy-ins... they'd have to.. I think they did before when things went belly up... Shame - I played in a qualifier for that £200k thing... got to final table, but needed to be top 3 or something... only entered it to get into the freeroll really - lol. Might try more often when my bank roll allows it. Hope it caomes back on later - I want in on the UTG freeroll. I'm out most of the week and won't be playing.
------------ Face book message from PP: - "Hi everyone first of all please accept our apologies for the break in service, we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties and aiming to resolve asap. As a few of you have correctly pointed out and confirmed via a COO at Gibtel there's been an explosion which caused a power surge causing issues in several data centers affecting several companies. We're getting reports that Gibtelecom are resolving the issue and we've also received an update that power is back in our data center, where a controlled start of our infrastructure will be happening. We will report more when we hear it, once again our apologies for the situation and thank you all for your patience."

It seems that party poker did it again, i mean lately thei were on the right track with good promotions and improved support...
Unfortunately the oldest problem hit hard again: their software! I simply do not understand why they don't get someone that can really make a poker software to work lol

Well i don't think they planned for an explosion/power outage to happen.

Yes, a fire in the fuel area of a (the?) power plant in Gibraltar has meant a widespread power outage, effecting all sites but 1 (only one has a genie!), including PP, W.H. and many others.
