I always said that poker and chess are games of popular restaurant in which chance is discarded. Find a video of a woman who understands this combines to perfection: Jennifer Shahade; is a regular circuit live poker when not charging WSOP titles in chess takes, and this video explains how to master both formats.

There are a few similarities between the two games in that you must have a plan in your head before playing either game. I think that training your mind for chess will always give you an edge in other sorts of mind games

This is not the only case, i saw more similar stories on russia whre chess tournaments are very poorly paid so players migrated to poker ... I also have to agree that there are many similarities and as doubletop said chess definately trains your mind for all mind games out there!

good morning all, Thank you for your feedback. training Licence undoubtedly the mind is unique in chess. and helps us a lot in poker . so I think they're both a sport. Because you have to train right? and if there is sport training.
