I dont know about it being the most important card but it is the card you always seem to remember the most. We have all had bad river cards but also lucky one's to. You just have to take the rough with the smooth in these situations

I hate the river.
KK v AK? Ace on the river every time.
Hit a straight on the flop? Don't worry there will be runner runner suits for the Russian to hit his flush.
Got a nice set on the flop with your pocket 10's? That's right the gut shot straight draw lands on the river.
You have an open ended straight flush draw with QJ hearts? turn and river with be 4 clubs and 2 diamonds, Russian wins with pair of 2's
------------ I think I go bust most of the time with one of the above scenarios where I'm 95% favourite and some donk is on a very slight draw, rather than a 50/50 coin flip.

Yep the river is the street i hate the most because most of the time this is the final card that nails you into the coffin, you are like favorites on the flop and turn and the river get you dead, and lose your stack or even get busted from tournament! But i can also say i like the river sometimes when the right card falls and you get the royal flush or a split pot and do not lose a whole stack just some money in rake. Anyway good luck mate just play more and in the long run these things will even out. Cheers mate good luck!

Depends on the situation really. I mostly hate it. But there is a fairly amount of times also that it was very generous to me. The one that drives crazy the most is when i lose a hand from that river ace. Especially when no other combo can beat you.

Yea i was just reading his post and i saw the one on duck poker, and it seems that he doesn't like you I've seen you play and i think you do good. so your right just ignore him and he will go away

It can be, many times it is but all common cards are important in poker...
THere are situations on which you can get the best hand possible on the flop ad turn and river cards do not count at all. But it's true that many times the river can be a game changer!
I've seen you play and i think you do good. so your right just ignore him and he will go away 
Smart move .. I'm sure that the river would killed you
