Yeah the mixed games are a gold mine and you can get great ROI if you play properly and have good basics also it is countered with the low availability of those games and it can be less profitable if you can play more SNGs even at lower ROI. You should compare your hourly also it would be wise to play more Nl2-7 Single draw game as you might be on an upswing or something to get a clearer idea of what your true skill is.

Had a couple of tries with this variation with freerolls. Cant stand the game at all. And that of course tops it up and there is no chance there winning anything. Cant recall anyone else saying that loves this game.

I think it's great when you find a game that really suits you. Sometimes you just feel comfortable playing a certain type of game and if i were you i would stick with this. Please update us with your progress

Although I've only played 21 tournaments, they are spread over nearly two years... On top of these I have played A LOT of heads-up games and a fair amount on the cash tables too.... with good results across the board.

I fell in love with this game the first time I ever played it.. Easily my favourite poker game at the moment.

Can't say that I ever even tried it mate.. have absolutely no idea of the rules for this one. I've learned more or less the basics for PLO but that was as far as i went away from holdem from when i started playing poker. What drove you to try this format?

yeah tied all sorts of exotic games via stars freerolls- it was fun to learn new formats (full tilt also have a few really odd but interesting games- unfortunately player base is nonexistant). the main problem with these imo is liquidity- very few players and many of those who play are regs... fish don't last in these formats long, they do appear once in a while (probably after some torrid time at NL Holdem) but they are crushed asap and never return... tourneys are rare and GTD amounts are too low to bother... hope that changes one day and we will have Sunday Million Badugi or NL 2-7 Single Draw etc.

I played it once or twice just to try out the game, it's pretty fun but the first impression is that luck has a major contribution to your win compared to other poker games...
Still, if you are a winning player continue to play it for sure!

Luck has WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY less of an impact on this game than any other I've played... My record of 38% ITM (which I genuinely believe I can improve on) would be impossible in any other game. I know 21 games isn't big enough of a sample size to work with... but I know these results are not down to luck, or an upswing. They are down to a very clear edge I have over my opponents. An edge that I know isn't there any more when I play Hold'em.....
